TABLOID 9 JUN - SPL piss about a bit longer with the Kachloul case

The SPL's spokesman makes the announcement, today
Following a lengthy meeting this afternoon, the SPL meeting to decide whether or not Livi paid amateur signing Hassam Kachloul has ended with no decision.

SPL spokesman, John “Bonnie Dundee” Claverhouse, issued the following statement to waiting reporters a short time ago:

“We, the SPL, have decided not to decide upon a decision, although a decision when we will decide upon a decision has yet to be decided. When a decision is decided upon, we will decide when the decision is to be announced. Please leave your spare change in the box as you leave, thank you. Up the Dee!”

So once more, needless procrastination from Scotland’s top-flight governing body leaves Livi fans and staff in limbo. As Livi both sought and followed their advice prior to Kachloul’s signing, it would seem a major face-saving operation is now underway, but as Livi are still regarded as a “wee team”, dragging the whole matter out further doesn’t seem to be an issue for the powers that be.

Rumours that Dundee Utd chairman and SPL decision maker,  Eddie Thomson, has been making secret arrangements for next season’s money-spinning Dundee derby have yet to be denied.
