Livi fans to have say in designing next strip!

At the inaugural meeting of the LFC Fans Forum for season 04/05, Livingston FC Chairman Tony Kinder gave word that Livi fans will 'definately' be involved in the design process of Livi's next strip.

This will come as great news to fans disappointed with the design and colours of this seasons strip.

Two years ago, there was a huge outcry when then Chairman Dominic Keane presided over the outrageuos decision to change the home colours to White with Pink trimming. Pressure from furious fans paid off when Jim Lieshman (the manager at the time) promised live on the radio that supporters could design the following seasons strip.

The strip consequently returned to the traditional Amber and black for season 03/04 only to be changed again with large White stripes introduced for this season.

A similar outcry ensued, calmed only when it was suggested that due to the current financial restraints that the club is working under, the last needed was a boycott of the strip and related merchandise.

With Tony Kinder advising that within the confines of XARA's strip options, that fans will be involved in choosing colours and designs for next season, a lot of disgruntled followers can rest a little easier in the knowledge that a return to the clubs traditional colours is possibly a step closer.
