Burton O'Brien

Squad Number 10

Captain of Livingston F.C

Former Clubs
St Mirren
Blackburn Rovers

Livingston F.C August 2002- Present

Singed from Blackburn Rovers along with David McNamee. Burton has matured very well at Livingston and has been ever present so far this season. Burton Arrived at Livi as a twenty one year old with six under 21 Scotland caps. Naturally left footed Burton has played the majorty of the season at left wing. Although recently he has been moved to centre midfield. Burton was apart of the CIS cup winning team in 2003-2004. Infact it was his fine ball across to Lilley that opened the scoring that day. Burton without Doubt has been one of Livingston's best players this season. He picked up the OSC player of the year recently. After a fall out between Former manager Allan Preston and former Captain Stuart Lovell. Burton was handed the captains arm band and he has done a great job in that position. Burton is out of contract in the summer and we don't know where he will be next season. But the good thing for Livi fans is Burton has said he hasn't ruled out staying at Livi and he will make his mind up at the end of the season.
