Robert Snodgrass

Squad Number 25

Livingston F.C 2001- to Present

Young Robert Snodgrass has been one of many impressive Livi youngsters. He broke into the Livi team just when he turned seventeen. “Snoddy” made his debut as a substitute against Kilmarnock when we were 2-0 behind. He impressed the fans and Manager Allan Preston. However Robert suffered because of being late for training and was punished with fines and kept out the team. The good news is “Snoddy” got his act to together and forced his way into the Livi team. He made his first start at Tynecastle and the youngster was impressive. In Livi’s next game against Dunfermline at home once again Robert started. The youngster shone through and scored a really impressive goal which was compared to England star Wayne Rooney. He suffered an Injury which set back his first team opportunities. Robert had to be patient to get his chance again and he did which saw him score another two goals. Robert made a total of nine starts and ten substitute appearances which is quite impressive for someone at his age. I am sure Robert is targeting more first team chances next season and I for one would love to see him in the team. “Snoddy’s” future is under no doubt because he signed a fresh three and a half year deal in January.
