The Livingston OSC held their player of the year awards last night, and a packed Almondvale Suite including Lionhearts Maurice Smith and former Captain Stuart Lovell witnessed Burton O’Brien pick up the OSC Player of the year award.

Lovell also spoke to the supporters about why he chose to leave the club, saying that he saw so many midfielders come to the club in the transfer window, that he believed that he would struggle to get a game, and the opportunity came up for him at Queen of the South that included coaching and playing that he felt it was too good an offer to turn down. He also said that he is still a Livi fan, saying the first result he looks for on a Saturday afternoon is Livi’s.
