Against all odds

This Sunday we face our first major cup final at Hampden. It looks as if we have about 6000 or so Livi fans going which is about the same as we would get for a home game against the Old Firm or about 1500 more than a non OF game.

Hibs are taking what could be nearly 40,000 — almost four or five times the amount of home fans they would normally get. At times they will make a lot of noise — but only at times.

A special message for Stuart Lovell and the guys — don't be disappointed about the number of fans we are taking through to Hampden — I'm not. It's been the same since we started our short historic journey

Livi is more than just a larger support, more than a hundred years of history, more than narrow-minded obsessions against opposition fans — we are the future of football and it CAN & WILL succeed whatever the odds.
