Benidorm Sunshine

When I booked my Easter holiday a couple of months ago, I never thought to look up the fixture list to see what game I would miss.

Instead of sitting in my usual seat at Almondvale on Saturday, I'll be in beautiful Benidorm topping up my burnt bits. But I know where I'd rather be.

I'd rather be sitting in cold West Lothian watching the SPL game of the week, but we can't have everything, so the warmth will do for now.

Aberdeen will be full of confidence after moving ahead of Livi into third spot, but it's about time the Lions rediscovered their winning ways.

A victory against the Dons will probably make up for the poor performances of recent weeks, but a defeat would be unthinkable.

It's about time David Fernandez and others stopped thinking about moving to bigger clubs, and started putting the ball in the back of the net.
