Cheating B&%$£

The World Cup produced one of the biggest shocks in its history when reigning champions France crashed out without scoring a single goal.

The other surprise of the tournament is that Fifa are allowing so many players away with what they call "simulation".

There are still people diving, rolling around and cheating supporters out of a decent game when they could easily be punished by the authorities using the magic words "TV evidence".

There might not be as much diving and cheating as in previous years, but those who do offend should be suspended for the remainder of the World Cup.

You might call this harsh, or even unfair, but most people will agree that the game would be far better off without these so-called "sportsmen".

Rivaldo should have been heavily banned, not handed a £4,500 fine that works out at a half-a-day's wages. That's a joke - but no one's laughing.
