The news was first brought to our attention in a local paper, where Keane said that the club had "decided to take a radical approach to the design".
A lot of supporters are even threatening a boycott of the new strip, and I can understand all of their frustrations.
Keane thinks nothing of the change but most supporters, if not all, are truly shocked at the decision and are appalled not to have a say in it.
Keane has hardly put a foot wrong since he came to the club, and that is what makes it so hard for all of us to come to terms with.
Let's just hope the radical new design makes us as impressed with it as he thinks, after all it's us who decide whether to buy it or not.
