Quino's Back

Livingston's pre-season training starts this week, and it looks as if Quino will line up alongside the rest of his Almondvale team-mates after all.

The management team of Davie Hay and Jim Leishman, along with chairman Dominic Keane, were not willing to be held to ransom by any player.

Quino looked certain to shift to Hearts but it would seem his wants were too rich for their blood. So he is back to sign a two-year deal with Livi.

The Quino affair begs the question - why would he leave the Lions anyway to sign for a club with no place in Europe and very likely to face another season of adversity?
Money is the only answer, with Jambos unable to match Livi's terms. Little wonder, with the Tynecastle mob still eager to slash their hefty wage bill.

Quino certainly couldn't have thought Hearts were the better team, given our four wins over them last season.
