Selik win the league

Another league title goes yet again to one of the Old Firm, but will it be the last after this week's meeting about the proposed SPL channel.

Rangers and Celtic have probably just made the worst mistake of their history by thinking that they can bleed Scottish football dry, and that the rest of us won't bother.

It's time someone reminded them the league's called the Scottish Premier League, and not the Old Firm league.

Would Scottish football be better off without them? I can't truthfully answer that but it can get any worse.

I don't think we'd miss them, maybe we could let them into the League Cup, but as far as I'm concerned, it's time to dump them.

We'd certainly miss the good things about the Old Firm, but one thing is for sure, we won't miss the disgraceful scenes that the whole of Britain witnessed on Saturday.
