The homesick foreigner

I hear that Livi goalkeeper Javier Sanchez Broto is uncertain over his future at Almondvale, and he might be tempted to go back to his homeland.

Javier has been a good servant to us, but it's about time that we started to bring our youngsters in, starting with young David McEwan.

I don't think Broto is a bad goalie, I thought that when he came to our club he was possibly one of the best in the land.

But Javier looks as if he is getting bored with Scottish football. He is making more and more mistakes and it's now time for a change.

And I hope that doesn't tempt the chairman or big Jim to go out and spend a few bob on another on of those foreign guys.

The supporters are itching to see our youth system work, and I'd rather it was one of our own in goals making mistakes than a homesick foreigner.
