Three weeks to go

It's just three weeks until we find out who we face in the Uefa Cup qualifying round and hopes are high we land one of the unfancied sides rather than more taxing opposition.

Getting there was hard enough, and now we know we're in the draw, it's only natural to wish for an extended stay. The longer the better.

One thing certain is that the Livi side that took us to third place in the SPL will be much changed for what's ahead.

Come August 15, when our first Uefa Cup test presents itself, I'm sure we will be good and ready, given the level of preparation we've come to expect from Leishman, Hay and Robbo.

On the transfer front, there appears no immediate hard approach for the likes of the outgoing Lowndes and Petersen.

Dominic Keane is confident both will find new clubs soon, however. A player who looks as if he is staying is Quino - expected to sign a new deal soon.
