Vaduz

As we made our way home from Vaduz, many local fans thought their side would come to Almondvale in two weeks' time and end Livi's Uefa Cup dream.

What they didn't know was that the Lions played absolute mince out there and deserved nothing more than a draw in Liechtenstein on the night.

I enjoyed every minute in Vaduz, but if they think that a bunch of amateurs have a chance in West Lothian, they have another thing coming.

Barry Wilson was half-fit for the Uefa opener along with Quino, and the rest of the Livi side seem as if they still have to gel together.

I fully expect the Lions to hammer Vaduz in the return leg. We started well, a few good touches, then seemed to get a wee bit of stage fright.

But to play away and get a score draw in any Uefa Cup match is good going. There are no longer any easy touches in European football
