Suite dreams - Livi entertain supporters, for once.

A "
A "Real" Livi Mush Pie
Saturday’s match against Dunfermline saw the new(ish) regime put supporters first, and probably made a few bob in the process. Tony Kindler, the new Livi chairman is doing something that former Livi boss didn’t, he listened to the supporters. Dominic Keane was far too busy to put on entertainment for us, he put that into the hands of people like (the very brownnosed) Ross, and other jobsworths, and did they give a toss? Sorry about asking such an obvious question. Some people wonder about the dwindling crowds at Almondvale, it’s these people that are partly at fault, supporters just couldn’t take their attitude problems anymore.

The difference on Saturday was the beer was reasonably priced, the food was the same, and it, unlike some of the mush (see above) you get at the serverey, it was really tasty. One thing that was disappointing, was again, the bar staff in the Almondvale suit shouted last orders at 13:40, much to the surprise of the supporters, and when he found out, the bar manager. This sort of thing used to happen when the nightspot was open, the Bar staff (who some, seem to have a MAJOR chip on their shoulder, and don’t seem to be able to take simple orders) would close the bar much earlier than advertised, but thankfully the manager kept the bar open till about 14:25.

The Kids face painting went well, and surprisingly, it was free (despite what the liars say, I never got mine done). The Playstation 2 was set up for the Kids, and over 75:000 supporters watched Livi beat Dunfermline 2-0, it’s a pity only 2800 turned up to watch the real match.

The bar manager was quite talkative and explained that he is being given the chance to make some dosh, something he wasn’t allowed to do when the toad was in charge.

Without going too over the top, Livingston FC have made a great move here, and the Almondvale suit will keep on getting busier and busier before the games, something that Livi will need to prepare for, starting on Sunday against Celtic.
