TABLOID - Celtic roll-over to the Pars?

Conspirators conspiring, yesterday
A top-level SPL probe has already begun into this afternoon’s remarkable score from Glasgow’s San Giro Stadium where League leaders Celtic lost 1-0 to basement club Dunfermline.

An unspecified source within Almondvale accused Celtic of rolling-over to Livi’s fellow relegation strugglers, but this has been sharply condemned by the ‘Tic’s own Chris Sutton. Speaking exclusively to the Tabloid this evening, Sutton said “What a disgrace! Accusing a fellow professional team of deliberately throwing a game for the benefit of another is a heinous accusation and I hope whoever’s made it has a good lawyer!”

But when Sutton was reminded that he himself had accused Dunfermline of deliberately caving-in to Rangers, thus losing Celtic the SPL title on the last day a few seasons ago, he was less forthcoming. “That was different” he snapped, “that was the huns, not one of the Mickey Mouse teams.”

Livi chiefs Pearse Brosnan and Paul Lambert were both unavailable for comment as they were in shock at their team’s woeful performance. This was made worse by the fact Livi lost 3-0 at home too.
