TABLOID - Rix in Livi talks

Graham Rix, yesterday
Your peoples’ champion Tabloid understands new Hearts manager-in-waiting, Graham Rix, has already been in touch with Paul Lambert regarding a possible feeder arrangement for up and coming youth players.

Rix (59) is shortly to be announced as Emperor Vladimir Romanov’s latest puppet, but already he seems keen to stamp his individuality on the job. Emperor Romanov seems set to retain overall control of all first team and reserve duties at Tynecastle; picking his own players and telling Rix who to play. However under-16 football shall remain as Rix’s own remit.

And it’s a task Rix seems to relish as he told us earlier today. “Youth is the future” he told our reporter, “and I like to look to the future. I’m particularly eager to see girls’ football given a more prominent position, and under-16 girls in particular are a real joy to watch running around the field. Those little shorts, firm young breasts, sweet thighs…you haven’t got a daughter have you?”

Emperor Romanov, earlier
Rix (78) believes West Lothian could be a perfect breeding ground for developing talent, hence his wish to foster closer relations with Livingston FC. “I’ve seen some of the jailbait spilling out Club Earth on a Friday night, pure dynamite mate! Wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a few of them and teaching them some skills.”

“In a footballing way, you understand”
he added with a wink.

As usual we were unable to understand a single word Livi gaffer Lambert mumbled on the phone, and chief executioner Pearse Brosnan was busy sharpening his axe, so the club was unavailable to confirm the rumour.
