TABLOID - Stoute slams goalkeeping disrespect

Stoute vents his fury, last night
Legendary Livi keeper, Horace Stoute, last night called for goalkeepers to be given more recognition.

The Barbadian internationalist has become more and more irate at the perceived oversight from pundits and managers, and is going all-out to have the issue addressed. Speaking EXCLUSIVELY to the fans’ champion Tabloid from his corrugated tin hut in Bathsheba, Stoute raged “I’m sick of this! At every team briefing I’ve attended the gaffer delivers the team formation like 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, but it doesn’t take Einstein to work out that only adds up to 10. This is Goalkeeperism at it’s very worst!”

And Stoute has a point as our reporter found out today when he spoke to Livi manager Paul Lambert on the subject. “There’s no need to mention the keeper in team formations as he stays in the same place, so we only ever bother with the outfield players” said Lambert’s interpreter.

We caught-up with Livi’s present No 1, Roddy McKenzie, after this afternoon's training session and asked him what his thoughts on the matter are. “Horace who?” he said.
