TABLOID SPECIAL - 2nd SIGNING SCANDAL ROCKS SCOTTISH FOOTBALL!

Carr-bridge FC, cheated this evening
Hot on the heels of the Hassan Kachloul saga, another signing bombshell is about to explode on the Scottish Football scene!

On Tuesday evening, Carr-bridge FC of the Badenoch & Strathspey Welfare League thrashed Kingussie to go 2 points clear at the top. However arch rivals Tomatin this evening despatched Grantown-on-Spey 4-0 to leapfrog Carr-bridge to the title.

However…

The week before, the 2 Speyside titans met head-on with Tomatin coming out eventual 4-2 winners. But early on in the game it was noted that Tomatin had not 1, but TWO ineligible players in their starting 11. Both had been borrowed from Highland League club Fort William FC, and their inclusion was strictly against the rules. So not surprisingly, Carr-bridge have lodged an official protest with the BSWL meaning Tomatin’s celebrations may be premature.

Carr-bridge spokesman, F*ballers Wife, this evening seethed “here mun, it’s a blaaddy disgrace! We’ve been robbed mun, robbed! I hope the League throw the book at them, righteenaaf.”

However Tomatin were less committal. Chairman Peter Marr told our reporter “feck off Livi scum! I’ve had enough of you lot already! This time we’ll win, it’s a certainty. We have god on our side.”
