Livingston too strong for Alloa as they win on the road

Three first-half goals earned Livingston a comfortable 3-1 victory at Alloa.

Livi took the lead in the 24th minute when a Nicky Cadden cross was headed back across goal by Joshua Mullin and Scot Pitman stabbed the ball home.

It was 2-0 when the impressive Cadden waltzed past a defender and squared the ball for Liam Buchanan to score and Livingston added a third before the break through Mikey Miller's stunning 30-yard strike into the top corner.

Alloa were gifted a way back into the game when they were awarded a penalty for handball against Alan Lithgow.

Greig Spence sent Liam Kelly the wrong way to make it 3-1 but the home side could not initiate a comeback.
