Livingston V Dumbarton at Almondvale Stadium - Match Preview

Livingston are again without the injured trio of Liam Fox, Jason Talbot and Kyle Jacobs as they look for a first home league win of the season against Dumbarton.

The Lions ran Hearts close in a midweek Scottish Communities League Cup tie before losing 3-1 and coach Gareth Evans is looking for the West Lothian side to build on that.

Evans said: "We probably deserved to take Hearts to extra-time but hopefully that performance will have brought some much-needed confidence to us.

"If we play like we did at Tynecastle we will get the win and we will need to play like that as Dumbarton impressed when they were here in a cup tie recently and we needed extra-time to beat them 3-2."

Dumbarton are finally able to give recent signing Chris Turner a debut as the midfielder has completed a three-game ban he incurred while playing for Shamrock Rovers.

Manager Alan Adamson is still without Kevin Nicol and Pat Walker as he looks for his men to grab a first three-point haul of their First Division campaign.

Adamson said: "We may not have won but it is far from doom and gloom here as we showed last week against Hamilton when we more than deserved to win before drawing 3-3.

"We will go to Livingston with confidence from that game and also from our performance there last month when they needed extra-time to beat us."
