Livingston V Partick at Almondvale Stadium - Match Preview

Livingston midfielder Keaghan Jacobs looks set to return to action against Partick Thistle after 5 weeks out with a knee injury.

The Lions however will continue to be without the injured trio of Kyle Jacobs, Jason Talbot and Liam Fox while centre back Paul Watson also misses out through suspension.

The West Lothian side scored in the last minute of their last game to defeat Falkirk and first team coach Gareth Evans is looking for Livi to build on that as he explained, "That goal gave everyone a real boost and we will start off against an in-form Partick side with a spring in our step.

"They are going well just now and despite being at home we are the underdogs, however kick-off cannot come quick enough."

First Division leaders Partick Thistle look set to be without striker Kris Doolan.

Doolan was suffering pain from his thigh injury following a Friday morning training session and is a major doubt.

Midfielder David Rowson remains out with a back injury, however on-loan Ross County frontman Steven Craig has recovered from a knock and is included in the travelling party.

The message from manager Jackie McNamara to his players is a simple one as he explained, "All I will ask the players to do is to keep doing what they have been doing.

"Livingston was not a great ground for us last season and I know their manager John Hughes will have them well fired up so we need to produce a strong performance to win."
