Livingston V Partick at Almondvale Stadium - Match Preview

Livi trio sit out

Livingston will be without Paul Watson, Jason Talbot and Ross Docherty through injury when they face Partick.

Head coach Gareth Evans is looking forward to his side's first game in a fortnight

He said: "Most clubs have had three games in quick succession but the weather put paid to that for us so we are really looking forward to meeting Partick as a result.

"They have beaten us twice this season and we want to change that record.

"We did well in the last game at Firhill especially in the first half when we had the best chances. We switched off at a set piece in the second and they scored but we know we are not that far away from them."

Partick will be without full-back Stephen O'Donnell due to an ankle injury.

Steven Lawless is included after returning to training on Friday following illness while Aaron Muirhead, Chris Erskine and Mark McGuigan have shaken off recent knocks.

Firhill boss Jackie McNamara is not concerned at losing top spot to Morton.

He said: "We are not even halfway yet in terms of games played so we will focus on the 90 minutes against Livingston without worrying about results elsewhere.

"We have beaten them twice already this season and know that we have to play well to make it three.

"Livi are a good side who play very good football so it should be a great game."
