Cherif on his bike

It had to happen, and it should have happened a couple of seasons ago. Talk of one of the Old Firm signing him was nonsense, and Newcastle were reportedly in there with a bid, but all was speculation, probably stirred up by his agent, and if he is as good a agent as Cherif was a player, then he’ll soon be on the dole.

Cherif joined Livingston under the headlines “I chose Livi over Rangers” but you know as soon as you see headlines like that, Rangers had one look at him and saw he was a bigger diddy than Jordan’s left one, and he is trying to pull a flanker. Dominic once described him as a “four or five million player” and that’s all the chairman hoped to achieve from Cherif, a quick buck. But this one backfired and Livi have been paying a window cleaner thousands of pounds a month to act like a footballer.

I can never really remember the skinny one having a good match, he hit the bar against Dunfermline once, then he done what we have come to expect from Cherif every match, pull up, claim to be injured and go in for a nice hot early bath.

But the fanzine would like to wish Cherif all the best in his new job with Horace Stoute as his junior Hairdresser. Good Luck.
