Hearts 3 Livingston 1

Livingston will be making an official complaint about Stuart Dougals handling of the match between the Jambo Junkies & Livingston. Davie Hay, Livingston’s caretaker manager is furious with the pea-brain Ref after he made some outrageous decisions during the Lions 3-1 defeat. The Livi boss was unhappy at the way the official handled the game, which saw David McNamee sent off late on, the Tynecastle side handed an injury-time penalty and Lee Makel booked in the tunnel after the game.

He said: ``The referee came to me after the game and told me that he was taking Lee Makel's name for remarks he had made - we told him that we would be putting in an official complaint for his handling of the game.

``It's something that we are entitled to do and we feel that we are entitled to give our opinion. ``Whether anything will happen or not, we don't know. But it's unlikely.''

Hay conceded that his side were resigned to defeat by the time of Pressley's penalty.

He added: ``It made no difference to the scoreline. ``The fighting qualities of the Hearts side won them the game today and we can't take that away from them.

``But, strange as it may sound, I thought that performance was as well as we have played for a while.''
