Kyles makes McNamee contract vow

The Scotland international was carried from the field during the defeat at Kilmarnock on Saturday, and will miss the World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Belarus next month. But, with his current deal due to expire in the summer, the club have promised to sort out a new contract for McNamee as soon as possible.

Kyles said: "Livingston are committed to helping David recover from his injury and the club will discuss the contract situation with the player as soon as possible."

He added: "We will be doing everything we can to help him during his rehabilitation and that means attending to his contract to protect his position during the difficult period ahead.

"It is important David concentrates on recovering and does not worry about his contract. We all wish him a speedy recovery."
