Livingston are set to announce a major retail deal. The Lions are set to follow Aberdeen’s example by letting a company handle all their kit and merchandising business. The Dons have signed a deal with Newcastle based Just Sport Group worth 1.4 million pounds over 4 years, and will have exclusive rights in selling every piece of Dons merchandise.

Dons chief executive Keith Wyness said about the deal that Aberdeen have: "This partnership is not only very strong financially but also means that we have an association with Nike to supply the playing, replica and training kit for the next four years and have Just Sport overseeing our retail operation."

At the moment, you can only buy Livingston merchandise from the Stadium, and at ASDA in Livingston, but the deal could see Livingston’s strips sold from sports outlets over the country.

With Livingston struggling with cash at the moment, the deal will see more dosh pumped into the club, and possibly help get the club out of administration before the May 31st deadline.

The deal should be announced soon, but remember, you read it first here on the Livi Ultras site.
