This is Livingston Football Club’s penultimate home game of what has been an incredible year of Scottish Premier League action: the Club – having overcome the difficult days of financial instability, and having picked up a major Cup prize on the way - are now back on a firm business footing and are preparing to drive the Club forward into 2005 – the years which will mark their decade of competition in West Lothian – with renewed vigour and substantially increased ambition.

The statement on www.livingstonfc.co.uk goes on...

To mark the occasion, Livingston FC have decided to ‘gift 1,000 school-age youngsters an extra special Christmas treat this year with the provision of an equal amount of complimentary tickets for this exciting fixture which will pit the ‘Pride of West Lothian’ against the ‘Dark Blues of Dundee.

Livingston Football Club is currently working to ensure that 2005 will be a year to remember, but we also intend to ensure that - for at least a thousand of West Lothian’s youngsters - the final few days of 2004 will be days they won’t want to forget.

Charles Burnett, Livingston’s Commercial Director said: “Christmas is fast approaching and we are keen to celebrate the achievements which Livingston FC accomplished this year.

“With just a few games of our 2004 itinerary left to play, we thought it would be a great idea to offer our local youngsters an early gift, and invite them to join us here at Almondvale for our Premier league clash with Dundee.”
