Macca slams St Martin (peace be upon him)

Furious ex-Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, yesterday threatened legal action against Celtic gaffer The Divine St Martin O’Neill (peace be upon Him) for what he described as “gross insensitivity” following the latest Old Firm clash at Ibrox.

St Martin (peace be upon him) was seen to grab Neil Lennon at the final whistle and march with him towards the Celtic supporters, waving clenched fists in an act of defiance following his team’s 2-0 defeat. This has been roundly condemned by most observers in Scotland, however McCartney is particularly unhappy about the incident.

“Why did O’Neill (peace be upon him) not give me a call?”
raged Macca yesterday from the Mull of Kintyre. “It’s always the same, everyone remembers Lennon but he’d have been nothing without McCartney and that’s a fact. I was almost sick when I saw the footage, it’s a disgrace!” Sir Paul looks set to demand half of Neil Lennon’s media royalties for the incident or take both Irishmen to court.

The other surviving Beatle, Ringo Starr, was last night unavailable for comment as he was on holiday with the Fat Controller aboard a yellow submarine, and his mum said he could not be contacted.
