Shock and disappointment is the only words than can describe what has happened at Livingston FC over the last couple of days. The departure of Maximo has left a very bad taste in the mouth of Dominic Keane and some Livingston supporters, but if any one is not happy at the club, then they shouldn’t be there. Maximo has had his ups and downs, his troubles with some people at the club, some people that seem to want all the attention and maybe Maximo has felt under pressure, and decided to leave before he was undermined any more.
He was the first Brazilian coach in the UK, that should have meant the start of something good for the club, instead the man with so many ideas has probably looked at the set up of the club, seen the money he has, the side he adopted, and then realised that Keane was more interested in money than making Livi a force in Scotland and decided that the time was right to leave.
I wish I had more time to write this, but I have to go to work, but we’ll have more reaction and news on his departure tonight.
