Almondvale Stadium will celebrate its Tenth year of existence this November, but
www.liviulras.com understands discussions have already begun to build a new stadium a short distance up the road at Starlaw Park in Deans within the next 10 years. It’s alleged that discussions had begun with Dominic Keane and West Lothian Council to sell Almondvale Stadium and the surrounding land, with profits being split and the council building a new and stadium again in Deans.

West Lothian Council have been 100% behind Livingston Football Club, and they believe the move will generate more cash for the club, and possibly entice support from Bathgate and surrounding areas. The Stadium would be about a 15-minute walk from the train station, but we understand that if the move goes ahead, a new train station would be built to be used on to get supporters to the match, and clubbers to the new nightclubs located in the stands.

Lionheart have said that they have no plans to move from Almondvale, but we believe that it’ll not be long before the council and Livingston Football Club make a statement regarding the future of Almondvale Stadium
