Meanwhile the Livi boss has pleaded for Livi fans to be patient with his remodelled side in the upcoming campaign.

Preston said: "The team that won the CIS Cup last season had been together for three years — we have only been together three weeks.

"Good teams take time to build but we have had them out on golf days and such to gel them together more and I will keep encouraging those kind of things."
