Preston repels McNamee interest

Both Rangers, Celtic and West Ham have all been linked with a move for the 23-year-old, who made his Scotland debut against Trinidad & Tobago in May.

But the Preston maintains McNamee is not for sale.

Preston told the Edinburgh Evening News: "There has been no contact from any club about David and nor would we welcome any.

"As a manager I don't want to - and am not going to - sell him.

"He is one of our best players and it would make my job much harder were we to lose him.

"He was different class for us against Inverness at the weekend and is an integral part of my plans."
