Now we have the news that Aberdeen along with other clubs have banned the Livi DBM from bringing the drums into the ground, and now Hibs have gone one better and banned the Queen of the south piper from their ground, as their supporters like the ghost affect that there stadium has.
Now who has told these clubs to drain all the fun out of football? That’s exactly what they are doing, but hold on, they’re not exactly well off when it comes to money are they? No wonder the game in Scotland is going right down hill, the powers that be are shafting us right left and centre. We pay over £20 to get it Easter Road, I expect a free pie, pint of lager and some entertaining football for that, but do we get any of these? We all know the answer to that question.
We get sub-standard football, that’s about it. No standing, no drumming, what’s next, no shouting, “cause or supporters don’t like it.” It’s about time that clubs realise that they need us, they need the supporters, but the supporters need entertained, the need excitement, but we’re not getting any, hence the poor attendances that the SPL clubs have. It’s about time a club or two went out of business and maybe the others would have a long and hard think about who should come first – because if they don’t, supporters like me and you are going to get p*ssed off with all their rules and regulations and find something better to do on a Saturday afternoon.
As one of the Livi supporters says on our messageboards, It's a football match, not a library.
