Aberdeen 0 Livingston 3

Livingston were either trying to con Aberdeen into thinking that Marvin Andrews would be missing for this match or Marv had been talking to god that much that the man up stairs decided to heal him in double quick time. A poor opening saw the Dons start the better side and Livingston were pegged back by the Dons forwards, but the Lions held there own in the early stages.

Livingston were dealt an early blow when David McNamee was forced to leave the park after he picked up a knee injury. The Lions then went to a back three, a move from coach Marcio Maximo that was to prove a masterstroke.

The game was very poor, and the Lions hadn’t had a shot on target inside the opening 44 minutes, but on the 45th minute, Quino got a hold of the ball from 23 yards out, and fired an unstoppable shot past Dons goalie David Preece.

Not the best openings from Livi, but the Livi supporters were happy to see the Lions go in at the interval leading.

Half time- Aberdeen 0 Livingston 1 – Quino 45

in the 48th Minute, ex Aberdeen player Jamie Mcallister stepped over a free kick and Lee Makel who is on form after scoring 3 goals in two games fired in the ball from 30 yards, but his effort clipped the bar and went over

Oscar Rubio put Livingston two up in the 63rd minute after the Lions won their first corner of the game. It was swung over into the box, where it was only half cleared by Aberdeen Goalkeeper David Preece, and the ball fell to goal scorer Quino, who fired the ball into the box, and Rubio was in had to score his first goal of the season.

The Lions scored the Lions third in the 69th minute after Michael Heart was short with a pass back, and Francisco Quino was there to latch on to the ball, and he rounded David Preece and put the ball into the empty net, a great goal from the Lions point of view, but a nightmare of a goal to lose for the Dons.

Fernando Pasquinelli was substituted a minute after his goal after the Lions coaching staff decided that the Livi man had done his job for the day, and he was replaced with ex Dundee United man Derek Lilly.

Michael Hart tried to make amends in the 85th minute, when he slammed past Livingston goalie Roddy McKenzie; only to see the ball strike the bar, and the ball was cleared to safety after a goalmouth scramble.

A great display from Livingston and a scoreline that will get it right up them.
