Livingston 0 Kilmarnock 3

Kris Boyd continued his rich vein of form for Kilmarnock with a deadly double to sink a disgraceful Livingston side.

This really was a stroll in the park for Kilmarnock, but a landmark for Boyd who is scoring for fun at the moment.

His double now makes him Kilmarnock's leading goal scorer of all time, taking him past Paul Wright.

And Boyd showed all the attributes of a top striker, dominating in the air and producing two clinical finishes to take the game beyond Livingston.

Kilmarnock started brightly and Boyd forced an excellent save from Ludovic Roy with a powerful header from Allan Johnston's cross.

But with Johnston tugging the strings in midfield, Kilmarnock had too much up their sleeve for Livingston to cope with.

And Boyd opened the scoring with the simplest of finishes after Harald Pinxten failed to deal with Garry Hay's driven cross.

And only three minutes later Kilmarnock secured the points courtesy of a well-placed low finish from Steven Naismith, who ran on to a delightful defence-splitting pass from Johnston.

The game went into a lull with Kilmarnock happy that the job was done and Livingston devoid of ideas.

Indeed it took 50 minutes for Livingston to get a shot on target, and even then Paul Dalglish's 35-yarder was speculative at best.

It was no surprise when Boyd added to his tally, running on to a long ball from Hay and shrugging off Greg Strong to loft a delightful lob over Roy.

A performance that is probably the worst Livingston supporters have ever seen.
